August 16: Last Night
We awoke this morning in St. Augustine about the time we usually cast off. We enjoyed coffee, then French toast and then mimosas in the fly bridge. Debbie took a photo of this turtle eating on the docks. First time in seven days we didn’t travel! Afterward we took a nap. All four of us! There are only 5 boats in the marina so not everyone shares our love of heat and humidity. We walked a mile to the brewery for our favorite Hazy and they have expanded their offering to EIGHT HAZIES! So we had a flight and tried several of them. It rained around dinner time but we ate inside on the boat. Tomorrow we will travel the final leg of our trip home. For you statistics freaks, it will be a total of approximately 3650 miles, 78 days, 48 stops and 14 states. Fuel burn will be around 1500 gallons. I will no longer be blogging so I am not sure where the voices in my head will go now. At least for the immediate future, they will probably just be listening to the long list of things that ...
