June 22: Countdown Resumes

 After two full days in port, we are ready to give it another shot heading north. The flags are not whistling at least!

We started the morning with a spa day for the cats. Nail clipping, brushing and then of course we had to install the microwave. By we I mean Debbie. 

All of that led to a deep cleaning of the boat’s interior so that was awful. But we got showers and met Connie and Bob for lunch so the day was salvaged!

They had a string of detours so it probably would have been easier for them to meet us in Florida. But they were good sports about it.

We are particularly pissed that our Manny’s Special pizza has not arrived yet. Damn Adam. 

Our distance tomorrow will depend on the wind and waves. We are hoping to make it to Mystic or beyond.  We pumped out the holding tanks so she’s light on her feet!
