June 29: I know you’re pissed

Fog and rain.

So sorry I haven’t posted for a few days. It has been busy since we didn’t actually die coming into South Portland.

The first night we decided to do a brewery tour in South Portland and there are a LOT! Kris and Catherine drove and Kris’s sister Marsha and her wife Jeannie met us for brews!

The next day, we started to put the boat back together. Deb started the engine oil change and I watched her intently when I was awake. I handed her a filter once so that’s something.

Last night Kris and Catherine hosted lobster dinner for us and Jeff and Nancy! We had a fabulous dinner and even the conversation was okay. 😜

The house was built in 1919.

Today we finished the last of the chores and Kris took us on an island tour of the light houses we couldn’t see on our way on Monday. Our favorite was Portland Head lighthouse - one of the most photographed lighthouses in the universe.

The best thing was that the fog lifted so we could actually see it as opposed to when we really needed it Monday!

Catherine worked all day and then we caught an early dinner. Tomorrow Deb and I head to Boothbay. We’ll let you know how that goes!

  1. I’m thankful that you didn’t get a filter splinter…
