July 18: More P T

 The cats are INSANE! Peanut started batting a pen around at 4 am then Gaffer started biting my toes through the sheets. Debbie got up to feed them and I slept in. They were still wild when I emerged. But Debbie had a list so things were about to get in order.

The parasailing boat went out. This is where they filmed Jaws. That’s just stupid.

I thought there was a manatee under the dock. It was a seal. That’s stupid too. Debbie did laundry while I cleaned a little. She also inspected the engine rooms. And replaced the fender line. And made filtered water. I played with the cats. 

It was overcast but not foggy so we were happy. We showered and had a little lunch. Talked to Robin and Cat who are arriving Thursday. Then we headed to town. We spent the majority of our time at WayDownTown. It is owned by a woman who has had it for 40 years.  Too awesome. 

Then we went to the brewery for the first event during Girls Splash . Pretty much the only entertainment was a group giving away surf lessons and selling last year’s shirts! We are not ABOUT to surf although we are from the shark bite capital of the world . But we got a great deal on last year’s shirts!

Then we went to a drag show featuring a performer who lives in Key West .
