July 4: Independence Day!

 

We had a fabulous holiday visiting with Kris and Catherine. We started the morning with coffee but cleaning the boat killed that buzz.  They arrived around noon and we got caught up.

Then we visited a brewery before heading back to the boat for a fabulous dinner left over from Bonnie’s birthday.

When we got back to the boat and finished dinner, our daiquiris, I mean dinner, our neighbor from the Ancient Mariner dropped in for a visit. She is 98 and a former pediatrician in Boston. Her husband did research at MIT. Her first son became a doctor with the goal of curing malaria.

So we are now discussing whether or not any of us can stay awake a long enough to see fireworks. Hope you are all well. We are having a great time.
